FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Federal authorities say a suspect in a Fargo-area drug ring has been arrested in Cambodia.
The Forum reports that Cambodian authorities arrested 37-year-old Christopher James Peterson on immigration charges Thursday.
The U.S. Marshals Service High Plains Fugitive Task Force in Fargo
says a warrant was issued in June for Peterson's arrest, charging him
with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a controlled
substance.
Peterson was indicted on charges that allege he and several others distributed more than 500 grams of methamphetamine in North Dakota, Minnesota, California and other states.
Authorities say Peterson is in a Cambodian jail awaiting extradition back to the United States
